CROCHET PATTERN: Queen of Hearts tapestry

This pattern creates a large tapestry of one of the most desirable cards in a 52 deck, the Queen of Hearts. The finished product is a perfect hanging or framed addition to any wall.

This pattern is for intermediate level crocheters who have experience with colour work and a whole lot of patience. Finished piece measures 118x75cm (46.5x29.5 in).

Materials:

• 5 mm (UK 6) crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Yarn as follows. Each skein listed represents 128g/260m of medium/size four yarn (worsted weight):
  • 1 skein of blue
  • 1 skein of black or navy
  • 1 skein of red
  • 1 skein of yellow
  • 2 1/2 skeins of white or cream
    

Sample tapestry shown in images was created using the following Impeccable™ Solid Yarn by Loops & Threads® colours, although any worsted weight yarn can work:

• Clear Blue (blue)
• Sapphire (black or navy)
• Claret (red)
• Sunny Day (yellow)
• Aran (white or cream)
